Introduction

Yukon College Library is proud to be a student-focused service within Yukon College.

Students are our first priority and, to meet this need, we offer services for the Faculty and Staff that support student-focused programming.

The YC Library provides audio-visual services in the form of equipment in many of the classrooms within the College and a larger list of equipment that can be booked prior to use through the A-V Request Form.

Support for individual Instructors can also include the Reserve system or Library Instruction for classes. 

To put an item on reserve for students to ensure their availability, Instructors need to use the online form. 

To request interlibrary loans for a class, Instructors should read our About the Interlibrary Loan Service page and the Requesting Interlibrary Loans page.

To request library instruction for classes, Instructors are encouraged to review the curriculum developed for information literacy instruction and to book the Reference Librarian through the relevant online form.  All library instruction is structured around the Workshop for the Information Search Process for Research (WISPR), with specific tailoring for individual classes.
